on my mind : 2014 scrappy resolutions

Last week the Studio Calico Creative Team shared our scrappy resolutions for 2014. I loved reading through them, as well as what the ladies on the message board had to say. It definitely had me thinking about what I wanted to get out of my creative mind this new year. Here is what is topping my list right now :
1. Organize and plan to complete the unfinished projects I started in 2013 - including my This is Me and Week in the Life albums.

2. Do something creative everyday. In 2013 I went in waves of creating vs. heavy break (non-creating) time. For me, that meant getting burnt out quickly and feeling uninspired when I needed to be most inspired. I think the solution to that will be to make something, no matter how big or small, everyday.

3. Get out my SLR + learn more manual features of my camera.

4. Think outside the limits of the page protector for my Project Life this year. Elise Blaha Cripe's title page really got my wheels turning a couple weeks ago.

  1. I love my SC monthly kits, but it often makes me sad that there's no bonuses or free stuff for us loyal customers!
