Project Life : Week 17

Week 17 : April 23-29

This week : it wasn't my intention for it to be such a crazy busy week. This spread includes 4 inserts! Haircuts, errands + lots of drawing. Parker took his first trip to the ER, which included getting his first x-rays. Morgan read her first book on her own. I met Kelly Purkey + took my first scrapbooking class. Mark + I also had a date night, celebrating our 8th anniversary.
Left side :
Lots of stamping + handwriting this week :
The first insert is from Parker's ER visit. His wrist band, CD of his xrays and I also printed the xrays out to fit in the front pocket of these discontinued Pink Paislee page protectors (leftover from last year's One Little Word class).
Back of the insert :
The front of the next page were his discharge instructions. The back is a drawing Morgan made of the castle from Beauty and the Beast. Tilt your head to the right for the full effect :)
The next insert is another drawing from Morgan - she drew before getting her hair cut. Love how she drew the chair!
And the back. A pirate on his ship, complete with map, treasure box + key :
Insert #4 is a We R Memory Keepers page protector of our date night / anniversary dinner. We spent the evening in Ann Arbor, one of our fave cities (other than our own). The map needs a little something, I might do something to highlight our route there. I filled the 4x4 slots with cropped or Instagram photos from our evening, plus some patterned paper, Hambly and a shopping bag. This is the front :
Cute new rain cloud Hambly. Love having a local scrapbook store that carries all the new stuff :
And the back, featuring all the courses of our dinner at The Melting Pot, and my handsome hubby :)
After Kelly's class on Sunday, I'm feeling more comfortable using Mister Huey's and masks :
A little flair + a tiny jewelry tag on the back of the Hambly :
And finally, the right side of the main layout. All of my stamps, including the Randomness stamp that are currently sold out, will be restocked by the weekend :
Phew!! Week 17 complete. I have included this post in Jessica's Project Life Tuesday link-up at The Mom Creative. Thank you so much for looking!
