Wife to Mark.
Mommy to Morgan and Parker.
I began my blogging adventure in May 2008, just weeks before our first-born arrived. I started writing as a way to share my photos and stories about Morgan and being a new mom with my family, friends, and co-workers while I was on maternity leave. Weeks turned to months, and as Morgan was approaching her first birthday, Mark and I found our new home for our expanding family, our first house. The constant projects and stories about renovating a foreclosure became another topic of conversation.
That fall, we learned we were going to become a family of four. Parker was born in June 2010, just 2 days after his big sister's second birthday. After my maternity leave, I decided to take a break from my job as a kitchen designer and became a stay-at-home mom. Since then, I've enjoyed writing about nearly every aspect of my life : being a mother of two under three, how I keep our home and everyday life organized, and my scrapbooking and craft projects.
In October 2011, I decided to follow a long time dream and open an Etsy shop. I'm starting small, but I have lots of ideas for products to create in the near future + will be sharing them here on the blog. There's always the issue of time and balance with a small family, so I hope to offer those new items in my shop as often as possible. By far, my best selling product has been the 20 Questions book. They have transformed in many ways since I opened shop, and while I will be offering the scrapbook version occasionally through special order, you can also find them on Blurb, where they are professionally printed + shipped to order, right to your door, whenever you need one.
In the summer of 2012, I was on the creative team for ormolu. I have used + adored Kaitlin's products for quite a while and I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity. You can see my ormolu projects here.

Please note: any links that I provide in my blog are to sites and products that I use and love and I mention them because I think you might be interested in them too, not because I was asked to review or reference them, with or without payment. Some links on this blog are affiliate links, which means I am using the product and love it enough to recommend it to you. Bottom line, if you purchase a product through an affiliate link, I receive a small commission. You don't pay more or less if you didn't purchase through the link.
