It's Tummy Time!
Our outing of the day was to visit Mark at work. We went to Bagger Dave's for lunch and then back to the office to show off Morgan. What a great reason to get out of the house for a little bit. We are going to plan to get together for lunch at least once a week while I'm home with Morgan.
Is anyone watching Baby Borrowers? I love the drama already - HA! If they only knew :)

Sleepy Girl
Morgan had another doctors appointment this afternoon and she's officially hit double digits - she is 10 pounds on the dot! Our little baby girl is eating well and growing well, huh? :) We've got a few weeks off and don't have to go back to the doctor until the end of July for our first round of vaccinations. Ugh, mama is not excited about that!
Right now, fussy time is in full force so that is it for tonight...later!

Missing you Aunty K!

zzz...
The last two days have been busy - more adjusting and a little cabin fever - so we took Morgan out shopping yesterday and today so I could get used to using the stroller and car seat by myself. Carrying the car seat with a 9+ pound baby down two flights of stairs is awkward. Can't quite imagine what it'll be like as she continues gaining more weight but maybe I'll get some killer arm muscles out of the deal! Morgan loves riding in the car though. She sleeps most of the time and slept the entire time we were at the mall except to be fed and changed. She is just a doll!
Here are a couple pics of Morgan with daddy this morning. Playing with our new 50mm fixed lens:

TOO Much Fun
Kristin will be back with Troy tomorrow (yeah!) and I hope Papa can join Gramm next time they visit.
And speaking of nice visits, it had been almost three weeks since I had seen any of my co-workers. Jeanette and Rachalle, it was great to see you on Thursday. I'm glad you had a chance to come out and meet Morgan. Mommy and Daddy greatly appreciated the Thai food too. (Morgan didn't seem to object either - what a girl!)
Here is your daily dose of sweet little Morgan:

One Week Old
Morgan is one week old today.
Her doctor's appointment went well and she is back to her birth weight plus 2 whole ounces. Today has been busy with lots of eating, smiles, even a little tummy time...but not much sleeping. Hopefully some books and stories will put her to sleep for longer than 30 minutes. I think it's time for a nap myself.

Don't call me baby
Not only has Morgan taken the terms of endearment that Mark used to call me (baby, sweetheart...), she has also found my favorite spot on daddy. I call it my nuzzle spot. When I need a little comforting, my head fits perfectly in the crook of his neck. And it was so sweet to see Morgan curled up on daddy's chest in that same spot this morning. I guess I'll just have to share! She is most definitely a daddy's girl. :)
Our walk yesterday was great. It was so nice to get outside - we walked to downtown Farmington and back and Morgan was very content. I think she liked all the bumps and movement. She just loves her Quinny bassinet Gramm and Papa! XOXO to you.

Tomorrow, Morgan has her first doctor appointment. She's been eating a lot so I'm hoping all is well and her weight gain is where is should be. Other than that, more of the same - sleeping, eating, pooping and lots of loving.

Thank you to my peeps
Visitors have been abundant in the house of Reaves the last few days. It's been really nice seeing everyone and sharing our new little bundle of joy.
In the hospital, Grandma Goulding brought Aunt Nancy to see Morgan. Thank you again for the adorable outfits. We can't wait to dress her up! Nancy, I'm absolutely dying to get her into that little knit sweater. It is the sweetest thing!

Of course, Gramm and Papa Frahm were there often to snuggle with their first grand baby. Thank you so much for being at the hospital for that grueling day. I know I didn't say much *grin* but I am so happy you were there. Our little princess can't wait to see you again.
Aunty K was a great support, at the hospital and especially helping us get adjusted and unpacked when we came home Saturday. We are all looking forward to seeing you (and Troy) really soon.
Grandma and Grandpa Reaves came down on Sunday with Nick and Caroline. We had a nice visit and hope to see you all again soon.

Yesterday, Grandma Goulding brought Grandpa down to meet Morgan. Happy Birthday again, Grandma. We really enjoyed your company.
Also, Kevin and Erika stopped by for a bit to see the baby. Thank you for the adorable onesies. They are perfect for our little sweetie! And a huge thanks to SHW Group for the beautiful flowers.
All is well today and I think we are starting to get adjusted nicely. The nervousness is slowly diminishing day by day and I'm starting to feel more like myself, physically and emotionally. I need to remember to slow down and relax. I need to heal too.
On our plate for the rest of today is to finish picking up a little around the condo while Morgan is taking a nap. She's been a good napper today. She was up at about 7:30am (after sleeping for 6 hours straight - awesome!), ate and we all napped for a good hour or two. Ate again, spent some time in her brand new swing (my new best friend) and then posed for a little photo shoot with daddy.
Ate, and then ended up like this.
And now that the nasty heat and humidity seem to have left the area, I would like to take advantage and get some fresh air. The last time I was outside for more than 5 minutes was last Tuesday afternoon. Needless to say, I am SO antsy. Stairs be damned, I will be taking a walk today. Plus we need to test out our Quinny stroller and bassinet!
So, I'm outta here. And by the way, does anyone have any idea how to get rid of these awful swollen Flintstone feet I've had since Thursday? They've given cankles a whole new meaning. Ugh.

There's no place like home
Ok ok, enough babbling. I know you want to see more pictures!!
Snuggling with mommy at the hospital.
Can you believe I slept for over 5 hours last night?
A little quiet time with daddy.
Just chillin'
I'm going to do my best to keep this blog updated with all of our latest and greatest news and pictures. Hope everyone is doing well.
Love you!
Mark, Nicole and Morgan
